Glioblastomas

Glioblastomas are malignant tumors of the central nervous system classified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as grade IV gliomas. It can arise de novo or following transformation of a lower-grade glioma. It is one of the most frequent primary brain tumors, with an incidence of ≈ 5 cases/ 100,000 inhabitants/ year.
